As I did, I heldthe book up so she could see the cover very plainlyand read the titles of some of the subjects whichwere included in that issue. After I was sure shehad an idea of what the book was about, I would lether see me put it down on my dressing table. Knowing enought about human nature, I felt certainthat she would be curious, curious enough so Icould count on her to pick it up to read while Iwas out of the house.
